XSL Testing

NIST has developed tests for both Formatting Objects (XSL-FO) and XSL Transformations (XSLT/Xpath).

The XSL-FO tests were first developed as part of a larger testing effort within the W3C XSL-FO subgroup. The first edition of these tests exercised the basic components, including the Area Model, and a variety of Formatting Objects and properties. The latest release provides coverage for the majority of the basic Formatting Objects and properties, as well as a few extended properties.

The XSLT/XPath tests are of an atomic nature and have been submitted to the OASIS XSLT/XPath Conformance Committee for inclusion in their official test suite. Currently, there are over 200 tests that exercise various XSLT/XPATH features.

  • NIST XSL-FO Tests
Over 2700 tests covering most basic features of the XSL Formatting Objects.

  • NIST XSLT Tests
Over 200 tests addressing various features of XSLT/XPath. Submitted to OASIS XSLT testing effort.
