XML Testing

The first edition of the XML Test Suite was jointly sponsored by NIST and OASIS. In March 2002, this work was transferred to the W3C Core WG, and formed the basis for the first release of the W3C/NIST XML Test Suite. NIST continues to lead the effort to augment this latest release to reflect the current work of the W3C XML Core Working Group, including resolved issues related to the Recommendation and published Errata.

Additionally, NIST, in conjunction with the W3C XML Core WG, has developed a XInclude test suite. Additional work is being done on XML Namespaces and XML 1.1.
